The move will affect all employees at the facility, which began operation in December 2011.
The official did not say why the plant was closing, although a report on the Windsor Star newspaper website cites “lack of work.”
In February, the subsidiary of South Korea’s CS Wind, began laying off 51 employees there saying there was not enough business at that time to maintain current operations.
