The deal was announced in November with a price tag of $140m.

The energy generation giant will develop, build, own and operate the 70 megawatt project, selling power and renewable energy credits Old Dominion Electric Cooperative.

The project, using 28 Clipper Liberty 2.5MW turbines, is expected to be complete by the end of the year.

Constellation also says it will apply for an “incidental take” permit as part of efforts to avoid or mitigate impacts to sensitive wildlife.
