Prices have fallen at Germany’s latest onshore wind tendering round as competition increased, with 1.82GW in bids coming in for a volume on offer of 1.49GW.
Germany’s federal grid agency BNetzA said that unlike at previous recent auctions it didn’t need to reduce the tendering volume in advance this time, pointing to an increased appetite to build new wind farms.
