Cloudberry Clean Energy has postponed a planned financial investment decision (FID) at its Stenkalles Grund wind project on the largest lake in the EU, Lake Vänern in Sweden.
The Norwegian developer is also planning to retain a bigger stake in the 100MW project.
Assessments of the project and discussions with potential wind turbine suppliers have identified several opportunities to improve project economics of the shallow water development, the company said, prompting it to postpone the planned FID until mid-next year.
