Clean Line taps GE for 'largest clean energy infrastructure' play in US

Clean Line Energy Partners has chosen GE to supply three high-voltage direct-current converter stations for its $2.5bn Plains and Eastern project that will move 4GW of low-cost wind energy from Oklahoma to utilities and customers in neighbouring Arkansas, Tennessee and elsewhere in the Mid-South and Southeast.
