Chinese wind power number-one Goldwind hailed its entry to the Greek market with a deal to supply two wind farms there.

Goldwind will deliver GW 121-2.625MW and GW 140-3.0MW turbines to projects in Viotia, Central Greece, that are due to be commissioned this year, the Chinese group said without giving further details of the size of the orders.

The deal was concluded in conjunction with its Germany-based Vensys wind subsidiary, said the company.
