Chinese government sets minimum RE purchase levels to reduce wind, PV curtailment

China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has ordered grid operators throughout the country to purchase minimum levels of electricity generated by renewable-energy projects, to offset the curtailment of wind and solar from the grid.
