Chinese power giant China Three Gorges (CTG) has kicked off the country’s first tender for a floating wind deployment that could see a pioneering system in the sea as soon as July 2021, with Ming Yang Smart Energy (MYSE) set to supply its turbine.
CTG is seeking a contractor to build, test and install a semi-submersible floating foundation for a pilot 5.5MW
