China’s wind turbine maker CSIC Haizhuang secured a milestone deal to develop 2GW in offshore projects in China’s Zhejiang province, days after its parent company China Shipbuilding Industry Company (CSIC) re-merged with China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC) to form the largest shipbuilder in the world.

The company and the municipal government of Xiangshan — a county of Ningbo city — on Wednesday (4 December) signed off an agreement that allows Haizhuang to lead the development.
