CGB foundations 'could be best option' for largest turbines

Concrete gravity base (CGB) structures have the potential to be the most cost-effective foundations for ultra-large-capacity offshore wind turbines in water depths of 30-60 metres, according to new calculations by analyst MEC Intelligence.
