Chicago-based Invenergy said that Chief Financial Officer Steve Ryder will be leaving the number six US wind power capacity owner after 12 years of service to “pursue a new opportunity.”

It did not say why Ryder departed or immediately name a successor. For now, senior vice presidents for financial operations, corporate development and structured finance will take over his responsibilities.

Ryder managed capital raising efforts related to Invenergy’s generation portfolio. He also oversaw treasury, tax, accounting, risk management and investor relations.
