The Ontario Environmental Review Tribunal (ERT) on Thursday and Tuesday this week dismissed appeals in relation to the 10MW Grey Highlands ZEP and 18MW Ganaraska ZEP wind farms, respectively.
Grey Highlands is located in the municipality of the same name near Georgian Bay while the Ganaraska ZEP project will be sited in the municipality of Clarington on the northern shore of Lake Ontario
Capstone received Renewable Energy Approvals (REAs) from the provincial Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change for five Ontario wind projects earlier this year, all of which were then subject to ERT hearings.
