Canada can boost wind penetration to 35% cost-effectively, study says

The transmission investment required for Canada to achieve a 35% wind power penetration would be offset by resulting cost savings in just three years, according to a sweeping new study undertaken by GE Energy Consulting for the Canadian Wind Energy Association.
