Broadwind expands gearbox refurbishment to 3MW turbines

Eyeing a growing number of US wind turbines coming out of warranty coverage, Broadwind Energy plans a new gearbox repair and refurbishment facility in Texas, capable of servicing machines up to 3 megawatts (MW).
