Brazil's offshore wind woes continue as licensing for 598MW Caucaia project is halted

The licensing process for the 598MW Caucaia offshore wind project in Brazil has been halted by federal environmental authority, Ibama, which said there were so many flaws in the submitted environmental impact study that approval would be impossible.

“What was found [in the environmental impact study] weren’t weak points that could be clarified, [but due to the lack of data and information] it needs to be fully rewritten,” Ibama officials said.
