Nordex’s recent streak of order wins continued when it announced a 399MW contract in Brazil, its second chunky order in the South American nation within a few weeks.
The agreement with an unnamed customer covers 70 of the German group’s N163/5.X turbines operating at 5.7MW for a wind farm in the northeastern state of Piauí.
The turbines are due for installation in early 2023 and the deal includes a five-year service agreement.
