BP has hired Orsted Asia-Pacific chief Matthias Bausenwein to lead its offshore wind business, bringing what it hailed as another 'renewables rock star' to its fast-growing energy transition operations.
Bausenwein will take up BP’s newly created role of senior vice president of offshore wind in the second half of 2022, following more than five years as Asia-Pacific president for the Danish group (see panel below).
