Canadian renewables operator Boralex formally inaugurated its 230MW Niagara Region wind farm, which represented the largest deal in the company’s history when it bought the Ontario project late last year from German wind group Enercon.
The Niagara Region wind farm uses 77 Enercon E-101 turbines rated at 3MW each, spreading from the Lake Erie coast up through the central part of Niagara peninsula.
