'Blueprint for new generation of offshore wind farms' | RWE bids for gigascale Polish seabed area

RWE has bid for a seabed permit in the 53.E1 area in the Polish Baltic Sea, which has the capacity for 1.5GW of offshore wind, after the Eastern European country has kicked off a competitive process for it.

“RWE is clearly committed to contributing to the Polish energy transition by delivering the government’s offshore wind build-out program,” RWE offshore wind chief executive Sven Utermöhlen said.
