Floating wind pioneer BlueFloat Energy is moving forward with projects potentially totalling some 5.2GW off Colombia in the Caribbean Sea, following the roll-out this week of the South American country’s offshore wind roadmap.
The developer, together with in-country partner Enerxia Renovables, aims to progress the giga-scale Vientos Alisios project along with six other arrays in a stretch of deepwater off country’s Atlantic and Bolívar departments.
