The component – a 46.7-tonne version of the 86-tonne machine at the heart of Adwen's AD8-180 offshore turbine – has been modified to give a view "inside the gearbox and its bearings", to visitors to the biennial show, which this year will have more 1,200 exhibitors from 34 countries.
