Billionaires and nations in clean-energy pledges as COP21 opens

Twenty of the planet’s major nations and some of its richest individuals pledged to mobilise tens of billions of dollars to advance the deployment of clean energy sources, as world leaders gathered in Paris for the COP21 UN climate summit.
