An important deadline passed silently this week.
Companies had until the end of day on Monday to hand in bids for the 1.55GW tender for pre-developed wind power zones off Germany’s North and Baltic Sea coasts.
Unlike in some other offshore wind tendering processes (such as in the Netherlands last year), Germany’s federal network agency (BNetzA) did not reveal how many bids it has received.
