The annual cap would be valid as part of onshore wind tenders with a total volume of 2.8GW to be held between 2017 and 2020. The onshore auctions will be held starting in May 2017 as Germany moves the allocation of support for most of its renewables build-up to tenders after a recent reform of its Renewable Energies Act (EEG).
