Belgium's Hansen reports €9.6m loss on weak gearbox demand

Belgian gearbox maker Hansen Transmissions reported a pre-tax loss of €9.6m ($14.4m) in the first half of the year, as it continues to re-calibrate its business in response to the weak global market for wind turbines and turbine components.
