Danish wind turbine giant Vestas has extended an existing frame agreement with Brazil's Aeris Energy until the end of 2028, offering a potential $1.6bn boost to Latin America's biggest blade manufacturer.
In a statement announcing an amendment to an earlier supply deal, Aeris said the new agreement "provides for an increase in the potential supply of wind blades of various models in a capacity equivalent to 8.8GW,
