German developer BayWa r.e. has signed a memorandum of understanding with the city of Ulsan in South Korea for the development of floating offshore wind projects off its coast.

The subsidiary of German trading company BayWa didn’t detail what capacity of floating wind it plans to develop, but chief executive Matthias Taft revealed that the cooperation also includes South Korean conglomerate Hyundai Heavy Industries.
