Switzerland’s largest renewable energy producer Axpo via its Belgian subsidiary has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) to by all electricity from Belgium’s largest onshore wind farm.
The 82MW wind farm in Estinnes, in the Belgian region of Wallonia, is owned by CGN Europe Energy (a unit of China Guangdong Nuclear) and generates about 150 gigawatt hours of electricity per year with its 11 turbines.
