The 744MW of capacity represents a $1.3bn investment and includes the high-profile 208MW Amazon Wind Farm East facility in North Carolina, the state’s first wind farm, due to enter full commercial operation in December.

Four other projects totaling 536MW will come online next year. All have long-term power off-take agreements.

The 1.7GW pipeline is almost triple the 600MW or so that the company had initially told analysts that it was planning to execute under the full-value PTC.
