AT&T has entered into virtual power purchase agreements (VPPAs) for 960MW of wind and solar capacity, making it one of the largest non-IT players in the fast-growing US corporate renewable energy market.

The Dallas-based wireless network operator said the deals will help support 800MW of wind and solar projects developed by Invenergy and help enable construction of the 350MW Frontier II wind facility in Oklahoma that Duke Energy Renewables expects to have online in December 2020.
