Areva agrees to sell 50% Adwen stake to Gamesa for €60m

Gamesa will buy the 50% of Adwen it does not already own, giving it full control of the offshore turbine OEM ahead of a mega-merger with Germany’s Siemens – which hailed the outcome as "in the best interests of all involved".
