Enercon chief executive Momme Janssen will leave the company ‘for personal reasons’ at the end of 2021 after little more than a year in the post, amid ongoing restructuring at the loss-making premium wind turbine manufacturer.

The German OEM said it is in the advanced stages of finding a successor.

Previously working as human resources, marketing and IT head since joining the company in 2016, Janssen was named CEO a year ago, and succeeded the company’s long-term managing director and CEO Hans-Dieter Kettwig.
