AMSC narrows fiscal Q2 loss on wind business surge

US wind turbine technology and grid systems provider AMSC narrowed its fiscal second quarter loss to $8.7m, or 64 cents a share, as wind revenue surged 82% from a year earlier driven by strong deliveries to India.
