A spokesperson for Honda in Brazil said the Danish group will provide 3MW turbines to the project, without giving further details.
Honda is building the wind farm in the the city of Xangri-lá, in the southern Rio Grande do Sul state.
It expects the plant to be operational by the end of 2014.
A spokesman for Vestas said the manufacturer only comments on firm and unconditional orders, in accordance with its status as a listed company.
