The agreements are for the 26 2.3MW turbines at RES Americas WhirlwindEnergy Centre and 72 2.3MW turbines at Hackberry Wind Farm. Both projects are located in Texas.
This is the first time Siemens has signed 15 year service agreements in North America. Siemens says that the agreement are a sign of "growing confidence" in its long term programs.
