US online retailer Amazon added more than 1GW of renewable energy capacity in Europe so far this year on its way towards nearly 6GW in 13 countries expected to be operational by 2025.
The new capacity includes 15 rooftop solar installations on Amazon facilities, and 24 utility-scale wind and solar projects, including its first solar farm in Greece, the online retailer said.
