All turbines installed at E.ON, Equinor’s 385MW Arkona array

All 60 Siemens Gamesa turbines at E.ON and Equinor’s 385MW Arkona project in the German Baltic Sea have been installed in a record time of less than three months, the German utility said.

“E.ON and Equinor deserve great recognition. The construction of 60 turbines on the foundations in less than three months is the fastest installation ever achieved worldwide,” said Jörg Kuhbier, honorary chairman of Germany’s Offshore Foundation.
