The world’s most powerful wind turbine in operation, GE’s Haliade-X 12MW prototype, now running in the Port of Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, has received its 'full type certification', clearing the way for the OEM’s machines to start filling an almost 4GW pipeline of orders provisionally signed with developers for projects off the UK and US.
