Algonquin estimates the project will cost $303m. The joint venture expects to arrange non-recourse project financing including $151m of tax equity.  

Vestas will supply 44 V110-2MW and 28 V110-2.2MW wind turbines that will generate 555.2 GW-hrs of power annually, according to Algonquin.

The Canadian company says it has a 20-year electricity off-take agreement with Wolverine Power Supply Cooperative, a local electric distribution utility serving approximately 260,000 customers in Michigan.
