American Electric Power’s $2bn plan to add 1.48GW of wind capacity in Oklahoma achieved a key milestone this week after agreement was reached with stakeholders on terms for subsidiary electric utility PSO to purchase 45.5% of three future facilities upon completion.

Parties to the “settlement agreement” were PSO, or Public Service Company of Oklahoma, the Oklahoma Corporation Commission’s (OCC) public utility division staff, Oklahoma Attorney General's Office, customer groups, Walmart, among others.
