The AD8-180 is the most powerful offshore model yet devised by the industry. The turbine will fly recording-setting 88.4 metre-long LM blades that turn an 87-tonne medium-speed, two-stage planetary gearbox, a water-cooled permanent magnet generator (PMG), and full power, with production entering the grid at either 33kV or 66kV.

Successful
