Shanghai-based Envision Energy has rapidly risen to the upper echelons of China’s annual turbine-supplier rankings over the past few years. It cracked the global turbine OEM top 10 list in 2014, on shipments of roughly 2GW, to take ninth place in MAKE Consulting’s annual rankings. Recent statistics from the Chinese Wind Energy Association (CWEA) show that it shipped 1.01GW in the first half of 2015, putting it on track to take third or fourth place in China by the end of the year.
