Vattenfall wins race for Denmark's 400MW Horns Rev 3

Vattenfall won a Danish government concession for the project, which is scheduled to enter service by 2020.

According to the Danish Energy Agency (DEA) Horns Rev 3 will be “Europe’s cheapest” offshore wind farm, with the competitive auction driving down the cost of power by 32% from Denmark’s last tender for the 400MW Anholt project. The wind farm will receive subsidies for 12 years.
