All told, SunEdison will buy 757MW of operating wind, solar and hydro capacity across six countries and three continents.

It is also acquiring the right of first offer (ROFO) on some 1.9GW of capacity – more than 500MW of it already operational – to feed the new yieldco, which will be called TerraForm Global.

The biggest move is in Brazil, where SunEdison will buy 336MW of operating wind and hydro from Renova Energia, the country’s largest renewables developer.
