BNDES will lend R$653m to Rio Energy, the local renewable energy arm of US investment fund Denham Capital, to complete the construction of the nine wind farms that make up Itarema in the state of Ceará by February and September 2016.
Another R$273m will be lent to special purpose company Vamcruz, made up of federal power company Chesf, with 49%; France's Voltalia, with 25.6%;
