The Los Andes newspaper said Italian wind developer ERG is considering the acquisition of the operational wind power assets controlled by Energimp, the development arm of Impsa's Brazilian subsidiary WPE.
The report cited Impsa CEO Juan Carlos Fernandes but didn't specify other potential buyers.
A decision will be taken on 15 October, the newspaper said.
Impsa has been undergoing bankruptcy proceedings since the end of last year, and decided to sell assets including 1GW in wind farms and a turbine assembly unit in Brazil's northeastern Pernambuco state, as well as a turbine delivery portfolio to what's left of 1GW of contracts.
