Building on a 7.7% year-on-year market growth last year, Europe is expected to expand by another 8.7% in 2015, says the analyst group, on course to outstripping the 14.2GW of wind switched-on in 2014.
A further 144GW of capacity is on the horizon for commissioning between 2015 and 2024, underpinned by the northern regions, which will account for 61% of new-building over the next decade.
