The holding company plans to issue a request for proposals for project services and suppliers this quarter or early next year, according to David Botkins, director electric communications, at subsidiary Dominion Virginia Power, the state’s largest utility.
The RFP will be divided into several parts covering different aspects of the Virginia Offshore Wind Technology Advancement Project (VOWTAP) to be located about 24 miles (38.6km)
