During the quarter, AMSC received a $40m order for wind turbine electrical control systems (ECS) from licensee Inox Wind in India, now the leading revenue generator for the Massachusetts-based company.
The ECS consist of the electric pitch system, converter system, power distribution cabinets and various turbine control cabinets as well as supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA),and other functions.
AMSC expects shipments to there from the company’s factory in Romania to continue through April to June 2016.
