A Danish trade delegation to Iran this week included a proposal by the European nation “to make investments in building a wind turbine factory in the country in order to export their products to the regional countries through Iran", said local news agency Mehr, quoting the Iranian energy minister.
Iran is seen as a lucrative market for foreign energy firms after the expected easing of sanctions against the country, thanks to a diplomatic agreement reached last year over its nuclear programme.
